UCAS Personal Statement Review Service

UCAS Personal Statement - An Introduction

University applications in the UK are made through a charity called UCAS (Universities & Colleges Admission Service).  As part of the application process, applicants are required to submit grades, references, and a personal statement consisting of 4,000 characters (not words) or 47 lines. This equates to around 500-600 words.

A standout Personal Statement is often the only form of personal representation a candidate can make to the admission officers and admission committee of a University or College. A Personal Statement that oozes passion and knowledge of the subject can increase the likelihood of a successful application.

Consider how Star Maths can help you with your Personal Statement. Our Review Service will endeavour to ensure your chances of acceptance into your preferred University are maximised to the fullest. Look at our list of 4 key questions that we will use to help you create the best Personal Statement.

Why have you chosen your selected course?

How are you qualified to study your chosen course?
